Biochemistry Laboratory aims to analyze biological materials (serum, plasma, and other body fluids) with chemical and molecular biological methods, and to make medical interpretations of the results for the monitoring of biochemical mechanisms, prevention of diseases, diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment.

In addition, biochemistry laboratory is equipped with the technical equipment at international standards, which can carry out a wide spectrum of test panels and closely follow the innovations in its field in order the maximize the quality of education.
Biochemistry laboratory consist of 2 separate laboratories.
In Dispersion Laboratory, the students have opportunity to become familiar with laboratory equipment such as glass, scale and pipette as well as enhancing their fundamental abilities by practicing analyses and experiments with classical methods.
In Clinical Biochemistry Laboratory, the students have opportunity to implement and learn the quality control and instrumental pre-analysis procedures concerning the control and calibration, the operation principles of instrumental analysis techniques such as auto analyzers in laboratories. Students also have opportunity to practice analyzing the samples obtained through bloodletting procedure in full and semi-automatic analyzers in the laboratory, and interpret the processes and results of these analyses.
