Medical Skill Laboratory carries out training for application processes on models and trainrs for the acquisition of medical interventional skills and medical hand skills with simulations of real environments, and the use of devices in applications with device requirements.
IAU Medicine Faculty Medical Skill Laboratory consist of six separate laboratories in which 3 Patient Simulation Unit, 2 Polyclinic Simulation Unit and 1 Medical Skill Laboratory.
In Patient Simulation Unit, procedures concerning the simulations conducted on training dummies and models through bedside monitors are taught.
In Polyclinic Simulation Unit, procedures concerning the training about measuring the blood pressure and temperature, respiratory rate and pulse rate.
In Medical Skill Laboratory, procedures concerning the training and simulations of resuscitation, suture, vascular access, injection, gastric tube, and bladder tube are conducted on training dummies and models by reach student.
