Orthopedic Prosthesis and Orthosis Laboratory is equipped with the equipment, device and consumables which will used in the design, construction, implementation and repair of the tools in which help facilitating the daily activities of individuals who have lost their organs in the locomotor system for various reasons, fulfill the function of the lost organ, even partially, support and protect the organ that has lost its function.

Orthopedic Prosthesis and Orthosis Laboratory practices contribute to the development of student’s skills and opportunity to gain the ability of apply what they have learned about orthoses and prostheses applied to patients under the supervision of specialist physicians in the field.

Orthopedic Prosthesis and Orthosis laboratory consist of three different units. 

In Application Laboratory; Installation and adjustment processes in which the design, metal and plastic processing take place are conducted.

In Cast Laboratory; Negative and positive cast models are prepared.

In Machine Laboratory; Puncture, processing and surface cleaning for metal and plastic materials are conducted.
